UNIFORM TRY-ON DAY: Saturday, June 14th:

IMPORTANT REMINDER! Fundraisers and money are due on uniform try-on day. Please make one check payable to BEAYC. Fundraising questions should be directed to Lorrie Day at 610-262-4310.

  • Location: Bath Municipal Building, 3rd Floor, Washington Street, Bath
  • Squad Times:
    Pep - 9:00–9:30 am
    85 - 9:30 – 10:30 am
    110 - 10:30 – 12:00 pm
    135 - 12:30 – 1:30 pm
    Senior Rec - 1:30 - 2:30 pm

    **Please have your clearleader wear her bathing suit underneath her clothes to help make the whole process move quickly. Please bring socks for sneaker try-ons.

    Girls will be sized for a shell and a skirt. Girls will also be sized for bodysuit, briefs and sneakers which need to be paid for at try-ons. Checks will need to be made payable to Schuylkill Valley Sports.

    CHEERWEAR: For those who may have forgotten to order cheerwear or may want to order additoinal items, we will have it for sale at uniform try-ons. Please bring a separate check if you plan to order cheewear.

    135 Squad Virginia Beach Results

    We are proud to announce that our 135 squad took 2nd place at Final Destination, a World cheerleading competition that was held at Virginia Beach on Sunday, May 4th. We would like to congratulate the girls for their hard work and team spirit and we'd like to thank the parents for allowing their daughters to continue practicing and for bringing their daughters to Virginia so they could compete with their squad. This never could have happened without everyone's dedication to our cheerleading program. Thank you!

    We are so proud of our squads that braved the wintery weather and went to Ocean City, Maryland to compete at the Reach The Beach Nationals on February 22nd!

  • Our 95 squad won 1st place!
  • Our 110 squad won 2nd place!
  • Our 135 squad won 1st place and were 2nd runner up for highest scoring squad of the day! (Almost 100 squads competed that day.)

    Two of our 135 squad girls entered themselves into a 'tumble-off' competition and placed as follows:
  • Meghan Conrad won 1st place
  • Michelle Konczyk won 2nd place

    And, to add to the excitement . . . all 3 squads received bids to attend Final Destination a world cheerleading competition that will be held at Virginia Beach in May.


    BEAYC COMPETITIVE CHEERLEADING PROGRAM

    It is our goal to provide each child with the opportunity to display their abilities throughout the surrounding communities while cheering at soccer games, marching in parades, participating in competitions – and ultimately to provide a positive and enjoyable experience.

    The BEAYC cheerleading program has the highest enrollment ever and continues to grow more each season. Our coaches, team parents, and other volunteers give freely of their time - we are a team - we work cooperatively - and we encourage everyone to get involved!

    In order for our girls to be competitive, it is imperative that everyone (child and parents) understand what BEAYC's Competitive Cheerleading Program is all about and what is required –DEDICATION!



    SCHEDULE
    March Cheerleading Signups
    April Parents’ Meeting.
    May Uniform Try-Ons

    Child is measured for a uniform, which is provided by the youth club.

    Child is also measured for a bodysuit, briefs, and sneakers - Payment due at this time.
    June Practices can begin as early as June 24th.
    July Practices** begin for all squads that didn't already begin in June.

    Tuesday & Thursday Evenings

    6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

    Location: Outdoors at George Wolf Elementary School

    **Days and times subject to change - based on coaches' availability**

    August Practices** continue for all squads.
    September Soccer games begin - held on Saturdays and/or Sundays.

    Practices are mandatory - may include extra day of practice (possibly following soccer games).
    October Soccer games continue.

    Practices are mandatory for all squads - location of practices is dependent on indoor space availability.

    Pictures taken this month (optional - cost is dependent on photo package selection).

    March in Bath parade.

    Competitions start.

  • The Youth Club covers the registration fees for all cheerleaders.

  • Each squad competes against girls from other organizations in their same age group. Some competitions provide the opportunity for our cheerleaders to compete against up to 15 squads.

  • Each squad is scored in the following areas: Jumps and Stunts, Tumbling/ Gymnastics, Appearance and Voices, and Execution/Synchronization.

  • In order for our girls to be competitive, it is imperative that everyone (child and parents) understand what competitions are all about and what is required during this time – DEDICATION! Competition tickets go on sale - Spectator tickets are optional and can be purchased for each competition (approx. cost $3-5/competition).
